Cat’s outta the bag

So I’ve been using a different logi fit lately. Recently a group I fly with introduced me to a cap stable 6:0 Basilisk fit. No energy transfers needed.
[Basilisk, all reps?]
6x Large S95a Partial Shield Transporter
2x Cap Recharger II
Gist B-Type Photon Scattering Field
Republic Fleet Large Shield Extender
Dread Guristas Invulnerability FieldPower Diagnostic System II
Capacitor Power Relay II2x Medium Capacitor Control Circuit II
With skills and Implants it’s cap stable. It offers a real advantage to fleets running vanguards with high DPS. With this you only need 2 Logis and can run with 9 DPS. That adds a lot of damage which means faster sites, and winning more contested sites. I’ve made a LOT of money flying these. There are disadvantages though.
Tank? Paper thin. Overheating towards the end of OTAs is not uncommon. With a thin tank and only 6 reps available to land on you this ship is NOT forgiving. Leaving drones on your logi buddy becomes crucial to give you time to keep him alive long enough for aggro to shift or the site to end. The Meta 4 reps aren’t as effective as the Tech 2, although they can be overloaded longer. Also the advent of the jamming blackbirds has made people want more logi platforms in a fleet.
The reason I’m coming out with this post now is that the secrets out. I’ve seen the fit linked numerous times in BTL, the closed community that it started in still uses it but has recognized that it isn’t quite the be-all and end-all fit, even if it’s very good and useful for what it is. I’d rather have this in fleet than a scimi, that’s for sure.
