So for some reason people keep doing THIS. Yes it’s API verified. Yes. Someone flew an ibis, with 34 plexes in it. I don’t know why.

PLEX don’t require transport. You can create a character, place them in a market hub and go ahead and put them in that character’s inventory. You can move your character to jitamart and THEN give him the plexes. This sub-genius decided to just put them in his untaked ibis and hope for the best. EvE is the Destroyer of Hope. Predictably this person got ganked. Hard.

There are a few reasons to move a plex, market speculation being the only one I can really justify. If you are going to transport them, do it carefully. Do it in a well-tanked ship, ideally something people tend to ignore, a Drake, an Abaddon, a Dominix. Something people won’t religiously scan. If you see yourself getting scanned, dock up. Find a different route. Log for a little while.

Don’t do it in a frigate.

Don’t do it on autopilot. (Not sure if he was)

Don’t do it if you don’t absolutely have to.
